You understand that Polaraud.io may collect and/or process (which may include collecting, organizing, structuring, storing, using, or disclosing) your name, date of birth, organization, email address, and any other information you provide when you use or interact with the Platform for the following purposes:

• To verify your identity and age;
• To enable profile creation for smooth and secured access to the Platform;
• For the administration and facilitation of your platform experience, including and not limited to profile settings and the personalisation of your user experience and content while participating in the Polaraud.io conversation sessions (“sessions”); For the development and improvement of the Platform, including troubleshooting, user traffic capture, site analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes and to obtain feedback so as to enable us to improve the operation of the Platform and offer you a better user experience;
• To respond to any queries, requests or reports you may have submitted;
• To contact or notify you about matters relating to updates and/or developments to the Platform, new features and initiatives, as well as our privacy policy;
• To post any publicity or marketing materials (e.g. photographs, videos, testimonials), with consent. Prior to posting any material, we will obtain your express consent to use the information you have provided;
• To enable any third parties to perform any of the above where necessary and/or applicable, including but not limited to law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, business partners, affiliates, suppliers and subcontractors involved in the development of the product;
• Any other purpose for which you have provided the information.

If we intend to use your personal data for any purpose not listed above, we will notify you of this purpose and obtain your consent, unless otherwise prescribed by any applicable law.

Polaraud.io works with third party cloud service providers to provide, support, and improve the features and services it offers to its users, and its technical infrastructure.  While no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, we are satisfied that the cloud service providers we use have taken reasonable steps to protect your personal data in accordance with the guidance of Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC). You acknowledge that your personal data will only be used for the purposes stated in this privacy policy and will not be further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes, unless required or permitted by applicable laws.

You understand that the Platform will retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations.

In respect of the transfer of data to third parties, we will do so only with your consent and ensure that your personal data is transferred to recipients who are legally bound to uphold strong data protection standards and to comply with applicable data protection laws and this privacy policy.

We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Singapore other than storage in overseas data centres of the cloud service providers that we use. However, if we do so, we will obtain your consent for the transfer to be made and we will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA.

You understand that Polaraud.io have implemented reasonable security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

This includes our best assessment of third party service providers listed in Item 2.

You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data held by Polaraud.io. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data.
